Allow user blank password access to shared folder

Solution

  • Go to Control Panel > Administrator Tools > Local Security Policy
  • Go to Security Settings > Local Policies > Security Options
  • Go to Accounts: Limit local account use of blank password to control logon only
  • Set to Disabled
